Mistresses of Mayhem WIN

Congratulations to the Mistresses of Mayhem, commiserations to the Bloody Sundaes, and a whole lot o' love to all our supporters who came out to the Speed Dome for Perth Roller Derby's FIRST EVER BOUT!
The Bloody Sundaes took an early lead, stretching the gap to at least 20 points quite quickly. The Mistresses of Mayhem fought back though, to first equalise the scores and then slip in front just in time for half-time.
In the second half, the Mistresses pressed on against very strong and skilful opposition from the Sundaes, and each team sacrificed a player to injury in the dying minutes. (We wish Trans Em and Minnie Screwdriver speedy recoveries!)
The final result saw the Mistresses of Mayhem come out on top, as the victors of Season One: Bout One.
Final Score: Mistresses 131 - Sundaes 91
